Experience and Training
MedConcepts has been serving clients since 1999, providing patient call center and billing office services.
Our staff is experienced and trained in medical billing. They are not just phone operators or collectors. They know insurance plans, how to read patient accounts, how claims are typcially paid or denied and how payments are posted.
We send our staff for the highest level of training and certification available in our field. This is Certification by the Healthcare Financial Management Association as a Certified Patient Account Representative. Usually found only in the hospital setting, we believe that the physician practice or billing organization deserves the same level of sophistication.
Our staff is trained to adhere to HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act), FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act), and other rules and regulations that govern our services.
Our staff is consistently monitored for quality and productivity to ensure the highest level of service for your organization. Each month you receive a management questionnaire used to access the overall quality of our staff and our service.

MedConcepts’ services will allow you to reduce internal cost by reducing your need for personnel. Your staff can focus on insurance receivables or be reallocated to more pressing duties within the billing office.
Plus we are not a percentage based fee service. You only pay for what you use.
Increased Productivity
By only performing our three basic services, we can ensure a greater level of productivity. We set measurable goals for our staff based on optimum productivity. We use a manufacturing model, producing calls, letters or accounts worked. This is much different than the flexible nature of the typical billing office.
You Maintain Oversight and Control
You maintain oversight and control over our work. We essentially become your staff. We follow all policies, procedures, and guidelines of your organization. We create a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) based on discussion with you. You then approve the SOP giving us clear direction on how to handle your patient calls and accounts.
All work is done in your billing system through a HIPAA compliant connection. All interactions with the patient are recorded in the account notes section. You will never loose control by “turning over” accounts, uploading patient information to another system or having your software interface with another package.
